The Virtual Silk Highway

Bringing the Internet to Afghanistan. I think this project could be a central part of actually making progress in the region and showing the people there that they can truly benefit from efforts to stabilize the security there.

Hopefully the troop surge that President Obama just announced will enable this project to flourish.

It's mostly focused on Artificial intelligence development, but I have wondered about the intriguing combination of AI (however limited) and a HBCI.

I'll clean this post up later on, but a co-worker pointed it out & I wanted to throw it up right away!
